I'm a cyclist. I would love to commute to work by bike. However last year I was hit off my bike by a car, failing to give way at a T intersection, where I was on the road and they had a give way. I ask that more is spent than what has been proposed.
this is providing more vehicle infrastructure. Significant changes need to be made to meet climate emission suggestions at present.
more costs for this sort of infrastructure changes should be burdened by the housing developers. I dont agree with either option.
how are the other librairies used around town?
agree - this will be a small but good iniative. Ensuring that there isn't a significant administrative burden to the cost would be good. i.e. council delegate staff to process the $100k.
Agree, this would be good in the council attempting to meet climate change alternate transport and reduction in emissions. creating a barrier for people to drive. however this needs to come with good investment into alternate transport methods. I.e. it is utterly unsafe to cycle into town from all bridges.
Yes!! lets get going. I agree with fast tracking this option.
who will be benefiting from the use of this jetty. Will it just be the current user? Is this the most appropriate spot for a jetty?
Agree for charging car parking. Also agree to charging non residents.
We’re proposing to balance our books in 2024/25 and reset our debt-to-revenue ratio to 300% for 2021/22 then decreasing by 5% each year until 2025/26 where we will remain at 280% from 2026/27 to 2030/31. Rates are proposed to increase by an average of 8.9% in 2021/22 and 4.9% annually until 2030/31.
We have lots of other projects included in our Long-Term Plan. We want to hear you views on any of them.
